Biography

I was born on January 29th, 1993, in Enschede (Holland). Here I grew up with my parents and siblings. It all started from the moment when i was 4 years old when my uncle Musa took me to my first football club “Enschedese Boys”. Till the age of 9, I played here. From here on my dream became reality.

Because after 5 years playing at Enschedese Boys I got the opportunity to start at FC Twente (youth), for one year I trained at the academy of FC Twente. When i turned the age of 10 I was selected by the scouts for FC Twente U10 among 320 other young players. During 2000’s FC Twente was one of the best youth Academies in the Netherlands. After 8 amazing years, the memories and friendships I moved on to football club De Graafschap U19. My first season at De Graafschap went great, that time my manager Feyyaz Ucar and his assistant Emre Asik invited me to joint he Turkish National Team U19. Proud as I was to join the Turkish National Team, where I’ve made my debut for “A Milli Takim” on March 27th 2017.

2012 was the first jump on my career, when my manager Muaffak Gulcay called me that the coach of Go Ahead Eagles; Erik Ten Hag which was the head of FC Twente Academy during the time I was playing there I got very proud and emotional because I worked hard to achieve my goals.

In my first year at Go Ahead Eagles we had a sensational season, we got promoted to the Eredevisie after 18 years. In my second seasion in the Eredivisie, we qualified fort he European Cups where i scored my first goal against Ferencvaros. The European Cups was a great achievement of us.

During 3 amazing seasons at Go Ahead Eagles, I scored 6 goals and had 10 assist in 96 Matches. Also I played during this time for the Dutch National Team U20.

Although Besiktas, Kayserispor and many other clubs knocked at my door during the transfer season, I decide to sign with Kayserispor mainly because of the coach Tolunay Kafkas. Moving to Kayserispor was a second jump in my career because of my performance i also got selected to the Turkish National Team.

My first season in Kayserispor I scored 5 goals and had 1 assist. After getting used tot he team and environment, I reached my career record with 11 goals and 11 assist in my second season. After this amazing season the coach Mr. Sumudica awarded me as team captain together with Umut Bulut.

Unfortunately the 4th season in Kayserispor didn’t start as i thought it will. I had an injury and because of that I couldn't  play for 7 weeks. The team finished the first half of the season with 12 points, which make the sport media think that Kayserispor would relegated at the end of the season. When the new coach Hikmet Karaman started and my comeback after an injury the team started to do what we had to do. We had 12 matches unbeaten and did not relegated at the and of the second half of my last season at Kayserispor. Because after 4 seasons with a lot of good memories, I decided to move to another challenge.

During my injury for 7 weeks i tried to focus on my wellness, i went everyday to the physiotherapist and trained with my personal trainer even true this time i still mainly followed my food schedule. Because all of this I started my comeback with my first goal after 7 weeks against Kasimpasa. During these kind of moments in your life as a professional player, it’s important that you surround yourself with the persons which support you during your injury.
